Mediplas Respiratory Products Sdn Bhd a rapidly growing medical plastics manufacturing company is currently seeking a suitable career-oriented person to join our team. This person will need to be hands on across all facets of accounting while they build their own group of people in the finance department.
Accountant/ Commercial Manager

Responsibilities:
- Handle accounts using MYOB system.
- Review and monitoring accruals, adjustments and variances in the Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss Accounts.
- Co-ordinate annual budget for reporting to corporate.
- Prepare invoice, raise PO’s and etc.
- Ensure sales and purchase process and procedure are adhered to.
- Liaison with supplier and customers as required.
- Prepare payment in cash, cheque and remittance
- Capture data into accounting system.
- Prepare bank reconciliation and monthly accounts reconciliations.
- Monitor bank and cash balances.
- Interact with bankers and auditors.
- To cross function with other Departmental Executives for the smooth running of daily operations.
- Process payroll including data entry, maintaining records, running the payroll and ensure payment of relevant taxes and government contributions.
- Responsibilities for HR matters.
- To assist all operational & administrative functions.
Requirements:
- Required skill(s): MYOB, Microsoft Excel & Microsoft Office
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree, Professional Degree in Finance/Accountancy/ACCA or equivalent.
- Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin.
- Knowledge in international accounting would be an advantage.
