Our client is a leading publishing company in Hong Kong. As a result of expansion, they are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to be stationed in Tai Po.
Candidates with less experience will be considered for Software Engineer.
Job Responsibilities:
* Program internal systems in Java
* Develop reports using Cognos and Oracle Report Builder
* Provide support to end users for system testing and implementation
* Prepare system documentation
Job Requirements:
* University graduate in Computer Science or equivalent with knowledge of finance/accounting an advantage
* At least 4 years hands-on software development experience with solid skills in Java, J2EE, EJB, JSP and PL/SQL
* Experience building reports using Cognos and Oracle Report Builder is a plus
* Ability to work under pressure, to tight schedules and handle high work volumes is essential
* Mature and independent with good communication skills are desired qualities
* Fluency in written and spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese) is mandatory
* Willing to work in the Tai Po office; shuttle bus provided
